Emma is a specialist paralegal dedicated to supporting the public law team.  Emma provides expert advice to mental health clients in relation to their detention, represents clients at a range of meetings, including hearings before the Hospital Managers.  Emma additionally assists the team to comprehensively prepare mental health, court of protection, community care and inquest cases.  Emma often scruitinises and analyses records, including evidence filed within proceedings, and supports the case management of all cases.

Background Information

Emma is from the West Yorkshire area and went on to study law at Liverpool John Moores University. Since graduating in 2012, she has worked in the area of Mental Health Law. Emma was welcomed to the firm in August 2013.
