Our specialist team will be able to offer you practical advice and an objective opinion in relation to your claim or dispute and we will always consider whether the issue can be resolved without the need for litigation, for example by Mediation or Alternative Dispute Resolution, which are processes and techniques that act as a means for disagreeing parties to come to an agreement, without the need for court proceedings or a hearing in front of a Judge.

If litigation is the only option, you can be confident that we have the expertise and experience of litigating in all forums including the County Court, Chancery Court, High Court, the Retail Valuation Tribunal and in cases dealt with by the Land Registry Adjudicator.

We have experience in dealing with a variety of cases from small claims to complex multi million pound disputes. We appreciate that such matters can be daunting to deal with and our aim is to help you through each step of the process. We can offer assistance in a wide range of matters, including:-

  • Recovery of deposits from your landlord
  • Wills and inheritance disputes
  • Claims against executors and trustees
  • Claims relating to property and land
  • Neighbour and boundary disputes
  • Rights of way
  • Claims relating to easements and covenants
  • Landlord and tenant issues
  • Recovering outstanding debts
  • Contractual issues
  • Consumer Contracts relating to the supply of goods or services
  • Enforcement of County Court judgments
  • Claims against medical, legal and other professionals in relation to bad advice.

Debt Recovery:

We are here to help you and can offer a range of services whether you are a business or individual. In some cases, such as a business to business debt we can offer you a fixed fee structure where that debt is undisputed.  For debt matters involving an individual, again we can offer to deal with this matter for you on a fixed fee basis if that debt is undisputed, but should the amount of that debt be in dispute, then we would need to discuss costs further with you at that stage as would be the case with business to business debts that become disputed.  Depending on what the particular issues are, and what further work will be involved, we are able to agree with a costs limit that we would not exceed without further discussions and agreement with you.

Fixed Fees for business to business debt that remains undisputed up to Judgment:

These costs apply where your claim is in relation to unpaid invoices which are not disputed and where no enforcement action becomes necessary.  Please note you will need to pay the relevant Court fee should proceedings become necessary, although this fee is then added onto the value of the debt which we will seek to claim from the debtor.

Should the debtor dispute your claim then we will discuss with you any further work that is required and will at that stage provide you with further advice about costs, which will depend on what further work is involved (eg, if it is a few letters to negotiate settlement – then this may be on a fixed fee basis, although if more extensive work is required then we can agree an hourly rate for that further work).
