Southerns are delighted to announce the following Judicial Appointments for Neil Cronin:
- The Lord Chief Justice, Lord Burnett, has appointed Neil as a Deputy District Judge on the Northern Circuit
- The Senior President of Tribunals, Sir Ernest Ryder, has appointed Neil as a fee paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned him to the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber (Mental Health)
- The Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC, has appointed Neil as a fee paid Judge of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales), assigned to the North East Region.
Alongside the Judicial Appointments, Neil will continue his current role as Managing Director and Solicitor with Southerns. Neil also holds positions of Assistant Coroner in Lancashire and is The Law Society’s Chief Assessor for the Mental Health Accreditation Scheme.
Neil said, “I am delighted with the appointments. Each external appointment or role complements the work done at Southerns by adding additional expertise and experience that can be passed on to clients of the firm”.
