Biography:

Ashleigh is a Solicitor and an accredited member of the Law Society’s Mental Health Tribunal Panel.  Ashleigh provides specialist advice and representation across many public law matters, advising clients in respect of mental health, mental capacity, community care and inquest cases and representing clients throughout the North West.

Ashleigh regularly appears before the Mental Health Tribunal and Hospital Managers, she is passionate about representing those clients detained on a Section of the Mental Health Act.

Ashleigh also has a particular interest in representing clients in health and welfare cases in the Court of Protection, including best interests decisions and challenges to Deprivation of Liberty.

Ashleigh lives in Oswaldtwistle and graduated from the University of South Wales through Blackburn College where she studied Law. She has achieved her Legal Practice Certificate (LPC) where she studied part-time whilst carrying out full-time work. Ashleigh also has 7 and a half years experience at her previous law firm.
